Great breakfast place! My veggie omelette with hasbrowns was amazing! My husband ordered feta spinach omelette and it was great too! Didn’t like the toast it can be more exotic but overall great experience!! Service was excellent!
Dined at Chris’s Family Restaurant two evenings in a row while on business travel from Florida. I was extremely pleased with the greeting both evenings when I arrived, the seating, and the prompt service. Both evenings I had the seafood combination, and was happy I did, it was very good. This diner is a Must Stop!!!! Growing up in New Jersey I am a good judge of diners and this diner that has it all, with great desert choices, along with plenty of coffee as well. A very friendly atmosphere with all the patrons happy and having a good time. Seating is plentiful and there is no rushing your meal. Management is present and walking around asking how you are enjoying your meal and if they can get you anything more. Everyone is very attentive. The food is well cooked and the presentation is outstanding. Irene, my server, was a Superstar!!!! She makes sure you are well taken care and has a very friendly and pleasant disposition. Finally, the portions are good sized, and served hot, along with an excellent drink and desert menu. This is a 10 Star dining experience with a hometown welcoming attitude you sense as soon as you are greeted at the door. Thank you to the management and the entire staff for a job well done!!!!
I had a fantastic experience From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was very friendly and welcoming. The service was top-notch—our server was attentive and even asked if we wanted refills without us having to ask. The food was absolutely amazing. The soup was delicious, and the warm rolls that came with it were incredible. The highlight of the meal was definitely the Western meatloaf—it was packed with flavor and cooked to perfection. Everything we tried was excellent, and the prices were very reasonable for the quality of food and service. On top of that, the restaurant was very clean, including the bathrooms, which is always a plus. Overall, I highly recommend this place and will definitely be coming back!
First time here for breakfast. We were quickly seated and ordered our food. We split a Kuhnsville Breakfast Special. It had 2 pancakes, 2 eggs, scrapple, home fries, and a cup of fruit. Some of the prettiest eggs that I've seen in a while. Gloria talked our ears off and provided excellent service! Great stop. Update...brought the inlaws here for lunch. My Father-in-law had a massive Egg Salad Sandwich on toasted Rye. My wife and I split the Pork and Kraut with mashed potatoes. Nicely seasoned and generous portion. Great service from Lilli.
We were from out of town and chose Chris’s for breakfast and we were glad we did. The service was outstanding, the food was everything you would want for breakfast. Our server was Laura. She was an exactly someone you would want to take care of you. The portions were large and the value was unbelievable. You will walk away full and with money still left in your pocket. If you’re looking for a great breakfast place stop looking and choose Chris’s. We were there for breakfast but the rest of the menu looked great.
Very good food and good portions. Parking is ample and service is fast even on a busy Saturday morning with no wait at 10 am... Pricing is also standard diner level with a responsive and customer service oriented staff. Also remember that here you can order one pancake of each flavor! That's just a helpful tip that they don't mention on the menu folks
Great selection, friendly service, good food and clean restrooms. We dropped in for a casual lunch and were quickly seated. The waitress was delightful and it was easy to have a conversation even with a pretty busy lunch crowd. The only caution is it is best not to be in a hurry the pace is more towards a relaxed meal.
Visited a few times in the past 2 months, and it’s been great each time. They make some the best pancakes I’ve ever had, while also having large portions. Also great value wise. All of our waiters have been attentive and kind as well so far. Would recommend.
